The recently released results of a Limelight Networks survey show that not only are we consumers downloading more than ever before, but we become agitated when our downloads aren’t completed quickly enough.
According to the Limelight report, “The State of Digital Downloads,” consumers are becoming increasingly frustrated with any slowdown or interruption in the download process. The most frustrating aspect of downloading was “when it takes too long to complete the download” (cited by 27% of respondents), followed by “when it gets interrupted” (22%), “when it doesn’t work” (18%) and “when it takes too long to start the download” (10%).
